It’s the first release of Redtray’s LMS after the company published its study into a new generation of learning technologies in April. The new features in ALTO are the first to have been developed from the findings of the LMSwishList initiative.
“Through our study, we discovered the majority of learning and development professionals believe social learning, virtual classroom, reporting and compliance are the weakest spots in their LMSs. When developing ALTO, we decided to focus on these areas and improve the features L&D experts are most unhappy with” says Vicky Jones, MD at Redtray Solutions.
She adds “I genuinely think our social learning portal will meet the expectations of those professionals. With informal learning features at its heart, ALTO places a lot of emphasis on the learner. It encourages them to share their training experiences and knowledge with others at the click of a button. It increases collaboration and makes the sharing of ideas effortless, in any organisation. That’s why we’re so excited about launching our social learning portal today.”
